Philippe Jabre explains that the association has been active for 25 years, with a particular focus on providing educational assistance. The association’s activities, however, extend beyond education, as they also offer institutional and medical support to ensure a holistic approach to addressing the country’s challenges.
Joumana Sabbagh, the manager of APJ, specifies that in recent years, the association has shifted its focus toward supporting master’s degree students, as it is increasingly difficult for them to find financial aid for advanced studies. “Education is the key to everything,” Sabbagh insists, highlighting the transformative power of learning in
shaping Lebanon’s future leaders.
For Jabre, providing educational opportunities goes beyond short-term success; it’s about empowering students to have long-term visions. “Having a dream is not
enough, you have to have a vision of what you want to be in 3, 5, 10 years,” Jabre asserts, emphasizing that education enables students to develop actionable plans for their futures.
